Part three of a series on hot tubs and health explores some more scenarios from some of our customers.
Hot Tubs and Back Pain
"Hi, I'm Anna, and I use a hot tub for back pain. In 2009, I was in a bad auto accident. A guy rear-ended my car driving me into oncoming traffic and causing another car to crash into my car. My car was totaled and I was badly injured. A great many of the injuries healed up, but my back was still hurting. I used to use the jacuzzi at my health club, however, after a while, it got to be too much effort because the only time I could go was when it was crowded.
My husband and I decided to buy a hot tub, and what a difference it made. Now my pain has been reduced significantly, and I can do a lot of the activities I used to do again, such as ballroom dancing and hiking. If you don't think a hot tub can make a difference, believe me it really can. "
My Hot Tub and Fibromyalgia
"My name is Marcia, and I've suffered from fibromyalgia for a great many years. Sometimes, something as simple as going to the grocery store can be excruciating. I'd wake up in the middle of the night, unable to sleep anymore because of how much pain I was in.
My doctor recommended I get a hot tub. I decided to buy a reconditioned hot tub because it was what I could afford. I was amazed at the results. My pain level dropped almost to nothing, and I was able to enjoy my life once again."
Spa use has been linked to improved health and well-being, and a lot of medical professionals advocate it. So as you see whether you're looking for stress relief or pain relief, buying a hot tub may be your answer.
This concludes part three of our series. For more information on hot tubs and health please read part one and part two as well.
